Enter Expense

Capturing Expense entries while on the go is now easier than ever. Users can quickly submit expenses in Juris Go with a form that closely resembles Time Entry.

Upon signing into Juris Go, the prior window that was open will be shown. To confirm where you are located, you will see My Time or My Expenses at the top of the screen.

If you are on the My Time screen, tap the dollar sign $ icon on the bottom-left corner to access My Expenses.

In My Expenses, saved entries which have not been sent to Juris Suite are displayed. See Complete a Draft Expense Entry for additional details.

  1. Tap + to create a new expense entry.

  2. Today's date is automatically assigned to the entry. To change the date of the entry, tap the Calendar button and select a different date.

  3. To add a receipt, tap on the camera icon . See Add a Receipt.

  4. Enter the amount of the expense in the Amount box.

  5. Tap the Search button next to Expense Code to open the Search screen. Tap your Expense Code from the list.

    You can enter the name or number in the Search bar to quickly find and select your entry. You can also Filter the list by Most Recent or Favorites. See Improving Search Results.

    ✓ TIP: To manually enter fields, tap the Use Local Data slider in Settings. Tap the left side of the box to and enter the full name or code.

  6. Tap the Search button in the Client field to open the Search screen. Tap on your Client from the list.

  7. While still on the Search screen, perform the following actions:

    • Swipe left or tap Matter. Tap your Matter from the list.

    • Swipe left or tap Task Code. Tap your Task Code from the list.

    NOTE: The Task Code field is only displayed if it is enabled in Juris.

  8. Tap Done to close the Search screen and open the Draft Expense Entry screen.

  9. Tap the Narrative text box to enter a description. Narratives can be automatically populated using the Narrative tied to the Expense Code.

  10. You can use Text Codes as shortcuts to insert commonly used and approved blocks of text. To insert text from a code, access the Text Code lookup from the Narrative screen. For information on adding Text Codes see Text Codes.

  11. Tap Ready to Submit from the Send As drop down below Options.

  12. Tap Save on the upper right corner of the screen.

  13. When you are ready, tap Send to Juris Suite or Send to Juris on the bottom right corner of the screen. You can also Cancel or Delete Entry.

✓ TIP: For quick entry, existing entries can be copied using the Copy & Edit buttons. Swipe left to access the Copy & Edit and Delete buttons. Press and hold on an entry to view a preview.
